What’s inside
• Front of House — customer experience standards + register/POS expectations
• Behind the Scenes — task system ownership + accountability + incentives
• Back of House — rotation, cleanup ownership, maintenance, and daily non‑negotiables
• Team Culture — how we’re staying aligned and building consistency as a team
Front of Ho
Front of House
Customer Experience + Consistency
• We’re reinforcing consistent execution: the standard is the standard every day (not “when it’s convenient”).
• Signage reinforcement plan: we’ll lean on clear signage/reminders so expectations are visible and consistent.
Register / POS Standards
• Everyone uses their own register login. No shared logins. • Why: accountability, cleaner reporting, fewer recurring issues.
Behind the Scenes
Task System (Hybrid) starting next monday!!!
• We’re moving toward a hybrid task system that combines clear expectations with trackable completion.
• Section 2 owns the task app (ownership = responsibility): • maintain/checklists
• ensure tasks are actually checked off
• surface anything unclear so it can be fixed (not repeated)
Incentives
• Hyperpay incentive is tied to task-app checklist completion. • The goal is to reward consistency and execution.
Back of House
Rotation + Ownership
• We’re clarifying a Section 1 / Section 2 rotation so responsibilities don’t drift.
• Cleanup ownership: each section owns the cleanup outcome for their shift.
• Maintenance duties: Section 2 has defined maintenance responsibilities (tracked through the task system).
Daily Non‑Negotiables
• Trash handled consistently (no overflow / no “later”).
• Sweeping done correctly (not just what’s visible).
• Expired checks done on schedule (not only when something gets noticed).
Team Culture
Clarity + Accountability
• Journal = the standard.
• Task system = execution and visibility.
• Incentives = consistency rewarded.
What we’re building
• A shop that runs cleanly because roles are clear and follow-through is visible—not because someone has to constantly chase tasks.
Thanks for showing up for each other. When we stay consistent, communicate clearly, and follow through, the shop runs better—and the work feels better. Let’s keep having each other’s backs and keep building this together.
